Just got back from my sophmore year of college... I've had very little time to do anything warhammer related in the last year (and in fact I have sold a lot of my warhammer stuff to a local gaming store). Anyways, decided I wanted to start a small deathwing army. Also, I finished my blood angels -- pics coming soon! Here's the deathwing list.

Belial - 190

Deathwing Terminators x5, 3xTH/SS, Chainfist, CML - 265

Blood Angel's Sanguinary Guard

Here's a video of my finished Blood Angel's Sanguinary guard. I decided not to paint them gold (just not a fan of metallic paints in general, and I had no desire to paint an entire squad with NMM). Youtube really fucked the quality...

Also, on the music side of things. I'm listening to Big Chocolate right now (dubstep artist and deathcore vocalist)

Red Corsairs WIPs

So a couple weeks ago I picked up some new chaos boxes. And with the addition of a few old rhinos and a landraider I got a sizable Red Corsairs force started out.

For those of you that don't know, the Red Corsairs are what are left of the Astral Claws (and a few other chapters that just decided to tag along) after the Badab war. Their leader is Huron Blackheart (formerly Lugft Huron). They took refuge in the Maelstorm and ever since have been building up their forces and raiding nearby space traffic. Essentially they're badass space pirates -- its hard NOT to play these guys.

Anyways, I've started to paint a rhino, a landraider, and a Slaanesh Daemon prince.

So here are the WIP shots;

First Post

Hey, everbody!
My name is Miles Ross. I'm a freshman at Saint Olaf College in Minnesota, and ever since my freshman year in high school I've been playing Warhammer 40k. Now I'm sure this is the reason most of you are looking at my blog (Warhammer, that is) so the main theme of it is going to stick with. I've played a lot of armies; I started with tau, went to chaos, tinkered with some imperial guard, played blood angels, went back to chaos, etc. etc. Its a horribly addictive hobby.

As well as Warhammer, I'm going to try to incorporate anything that overlapps with it as well. Music, sports, anything that happens to come into contact with my 40k life.

Here's just a couple of my models;
